A 260-foot glass-front elevator descends into Lookout Mountain for a guided, roughly mile-long round-trip cave walk ending at the tallest underground waterfall open to the public in the U.S., with a waterfall lightshow at the end. The cave holds a constant year-round temperature. Not wheelchair or stroller accessible — guests must be ambulatory, and grip-friendly shoes are recommended for the damp cave floor. Open 8 AM–8 PM, 364 days a year (closed Dec. 25); online timed-entry tickets are recommended, as walk-up tickets are limited.
