Oren Wooden's farm sells apples (Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Winesap, Ambrosia, Rome and Granny Smith were listed as picking), pumpkins, potatoes and vegetables, with a Pie Shop making apple dumplings, fried pies, apple cake, cider donuts, cider slushies, whole apple pies and cookies (pumpkin rolls start Nov 1). The farm market also carries jams, jellies, pickles, preserves, quilts, crafts and woodworking. Hours: Monday-Saturday 8 AM-7 PM and Sunday 1-6 PM Eastern. The site doesn't list season dates and says the cafe won't open this season, so call 423-447-6376 before you go. Cash or check only; there's an ATM on site. Call ahead for large orders.
